Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: April 15, 2025

By using the services of GRACE LANKA TOURS (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any bookings or inquiries.

1. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings must be made in writing through our contact form, email, or messaging platforms. Once we confirm availability and receive your acceptance, your booking is considered confirmed. A deposit may be required depending on the nature of the tour.

2. Prices & Payments

Tour prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Full payment is required before the start of the tour. Payment methods and due dates will be outlined in your custom itinerary or invoice.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel your tour, please notify us as soon as possible. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation:

  • More than 14 days before the tour: full refund (minus processing fees)
  • 7–14 days before: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days: no refund

In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest), we may offer alternative arrangements or partial credits at our discretion.

4. Travel Insurance

All clients are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, personal liability, and lost or stolen items. We are not responsible for any losses resulting from your failure to obtain adequate insurance.

5. Limitation of Liability

GRACE LANKA TOURS is not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, delay, or damage resulting from:

  • Accidents during transport, tours, or hotel stays
  • Illnesses or medical emergencies
  • Loss or theft of personal belongings
  • Delays, cancellations, or changes due to weather, strikes, natural disasters, or government actions
  • Actions or negligence of third-party providers such as hotels, restaurants, or transportation companies

6. Participant Responsibility

It is the client’s responsibility to assess whether they are physically and medically fit for the tour. Participation is at your own risk. We reserve the right to deny participation to any individual for safety or behavioral reasons.

7. Conduct & Respect

We expect all clients to respect local customs, cultures, and other travelers. Inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.

8. Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to alter tour itineraries when necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. We will always strive to provide suitable alternatives of equal value and quality.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
